Early Life
Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, was born in Wichita, Kansas, on May 7, 1998. He spent the majority of his early years in Greenville, North Carolina, where he was raised. Jimmy completed his education in 2016 at the small, private Greenville Christian Academy. He has shown an early talent for content creation and digital platform interaction. Inspired by content creators who had already achieved success on the platform, he developed an interest in YouTube throughout his teenage years.
North Carolina’s Greenville is where Donaldson was raised. At 13, he started uploading videos to YouTube under the username MrBeast6000 in early 2012.
